Abby's Baby Quilt: Getting Started

So I've made a few baby quilts over the last year or so.  Four to be exact.  Two contemporary blankies, two patchwork quilts.  The patchwork quilts turned out super cute.   I don't have pics of them... what was I thinking?! :)

My sister loved the ones the patchwork ones I made and asked me to make her one for Abby and, hopefully, one for Creighton.  I was way ahead of her, because I already had all the fabric and a plan!  So here is what it will be made out of:

Please ignore the wrinkly fabric... it's been sitting quite a while in the closet!

It was a kit I bought on sale at JoAnn's... mostly because it was irresistably ADORABLE.  It's vintage, girly, lavendar.  I love it!  And I have exactly two weeks to finish it.  Wish me luck!

    Oooh I can't wait to see the finished product Amanda! Those colors and fabrics are beautiful. I have tried quilting but I just do not have the patience so I admire you!
